"if the generated code doesn't work, just reroll it, it's like generating images until you find one you like" - real thing a silicon valley technical VC just said -

@deprecated_ii @paper9741 well, there is always the discussion between being able to use a tool the intended way and being useless without a crutch.

Well... what ever you do, just make sure it reinvents what other, simpler applications have been doing for 40 years, but in a more convoluted way. We all know that if it's newer, it's better. -

@EdBoatConnoisseur @paper9741 the actual CS degrees aren't going anywhere. they just add new lower tiers, like when they added "software engineering" degrees for people who couldn't hack discrete math and DS&A
prompt engineering is for people who can't hack theory- and math-free software engineering degrees -

@deprecated_ii @paper9741 Can't wait for the time when generating gooning material with AI gives you more prompt engineering knowledge than a college CS graduate

Computing was better when it was an IQ test, not made so damn simple that even a toddler can figure out how to scroll a long list of jewtube thumbnails and select one it wants to watch.
Hell, I was able to navigate a DOS command prompt at fucking four years old.NEETzsche likes this. -

@Humpleupagus That was around for quite a while after HTML. It was the late 2000s where all the jannying started to present itself, and only the mid-2010s when it became a real problem.

Proto-woke and proto-SJW was in the works for decades prior to the nigger-in-chief, but he definitely kicked the finished product down the slippery slope and got away with it with his personality cult and "first nigger president weeeee you can't criticize me that's waycis!" NEETzsche likes this.
