No. Fuck this. I literally left #Tumblr a few month ago because they have a serious infestation of #CP and child #SA. If you’re an admin, I’d suggest blocking Tumblr. The #Fediverse will have to deal with more and more of this as it becomes increasingly popular. #ActivityPub support or not, we do NOT want an invasion of #CorporateCorruption.

I get the feeling, and it’s only a feeling, and few a bits of anecdotal evidence, that many of us #genx people who where among the first to jump feet first into the #worldwideweb, will also be some of the first to leave. I think it was about a year ago, someone created a poll on the age demographic of #Mastodon users, and the vast majority were gen-x and older #millennials. We know it’s all gone to shit, and we want out.

All I know is that every time I’ve tried to make a blog with it, it was an awful, confusing, complicated, messy experience. And everyone always suggests it, like it the obvious, default choice. It’s one of the reasons I gave up trying to have my own website. I’m not a fan.

@hj I feel the same but about 7. I believe it was not only the best Windows, it was the best Windows will ever be. Win7 was peak Windows.
