@fesshole I lived in a group house where the landlords kept it too cold. We started putting bags of peas on thermostat to warm the place up. It worked for a long time until one of the landlords came over and saw it. :-)

Serves them right. We asked them to adjust the timer to warm the place up in the morning when we were getting up. Instead he had it set to heat the house in the middle of the day when nobody was there.

@jeffowski I don't agree with this quote. There are various demographics groups that got "free" with help from groups more powerful than they were ( American slaves ) or convinced those in the same groups as their oppressors to reform: women's suffrage.

@drwhax I am more concerned about your bigotry/ageism. "Baby Boomer" means ANYONE born between 1946 -1964. That is a huge diversity of people to think they are all alike and all behind those laws. Maybe the people who made those laws were scumbags their entire lives and it has nothing to do with their age?
