Linus got his Twitter owned again and thankfully no pictures of me were posted this time.

Yeah it's basically some effect applied to a photo you've taken. I don't think you can even use arbitrary photos because it needs the lidar data

That's why I've started telling people "I just need more power and freedom to do things with my phone that you won't be able to do for another 2-5 years."

Which means when they ask what things, I can list things that they already love and use instead of things they're about to love and use.

And when they invariably ask "Right but what's the feature this time around?", I always leave them wanting more... "Guess you'll find out in 2-5 years, champ!"

As an aside, iPhones are just flat out difficult to use if you want to do anything that's not mindless content consumption. They are toys, not tools.

I'll say this though: I've used half a dozen android tablets, and I'm never ever going back. The iPad is just better. I suspect the iPad will always be just better.

I gave my iPad Pro to a family member because I realistically used it once a year for drone stuff, but I'm patiently waiting for the next iPad Mini to come out so I have something for document viewing and signing in the field.

Remote Desktop is far too descriptive. Microsoft fixing this by renaming it to "Windows App"

These are the people making decisions for media now, and leadership in less than a decade.

She actually tried to tamper with my phone to delete footage of the service because she was talking mad shit about me and my sister. She later said the purpose of the recording was to "catch her in a lie" which honestly speaks a lot to her state of mind and was one of the biggest mistakes she made in the hearing.

Only so much I can go into as the entire thing is still ongoing, but tl;dr my dad married his therapist a few years ago and she was very obviously using him for a free house and free cars and etc.

She made it a point not to respect his wishes in regards to his service, and went on a shopping spree with the funeral benefit money instead.

She's also denied my sister and I access to the home to retrieve sentimental things with no cash value.

She steadfastly refused to open probate because she wanted to keep accounts open to spend money out of instead. I applied to be executor of the estate but she had first crack at it. There was a hearing to decide who should be executor and she brought a high powered attorney when I wasn't even sure she was going to show up. Their argument was that probate didn't need to be opened at all, and she spewed lie after lie after lie in the hearing. I got a call an hour ago and

On a complete, all encompassing level? Of course not.

But human interaction, and human psychology, is all about abstraction.

Whether or not someone can, for example, bear children, doesn't enter into the overwhelming majority of interactions with people. Take older cis women for example. Do you know whether she's menopausal or not? You probably don't, because that data isn't necessary to carry out the interaction. It's abstracted away from you.

Same thing with trans people. Unless and until y'all are planning to fuck, the mechanics are entirely abstracted away from you. Everything else is window dressing, and if they want to change out the shades, who gives a fuck?

But again, that also doesn't give them the right to shut down any discussion on any topic whatsoever, and maybe it's a little weird to push other people into changing their window dressing.

Let's hear it.

For anybody happening across this post: I think if you're happier as some other gender, you should absolutely be allowed to express yourself as that gender. I do *not* believe that doing so automatically makes you right in all topics forever and ever and any who disagrees with you is a terrible awful rotten person.

And if that angers anybody, I would remind them that my le epic goth hacker trap gf passes better than you because she's like 5'3" and also largely shares the sentiment I posted above.

The only people who object to gatekeeping are the ones the gate was meant to keep out.

I see politics as entertainment, like a live soap opera. Like wrestling. That's why I really don't give a fuck about the outcome, really.

That said, I'm *already* annoyed by this particular Beyonce song being absolutely squeezed for everything it's worth, and not having to hear it for the next four years would certainly be an incentive.
