     @ai @cine JWZ is a real human at least. The guy worked on a lot of cool software, helped to found Mozilla, and then went "dude fuck this" and decided to run a night club instead. If you've ever done software development, he's living the dream: not developing software. Truthfully, I'm envious.

     Are they complaining about Gargamon or do these idiots think the instance admin can just change the post limit? It's fucking hard coded into Masto. There were several PRs for making it configurable and all of them were closed out. If an admin wants to increase the limit, they've gotta write (or grab) a patch and incorporate it into their whole update/deployment system.

     @prettygood I remember back in the day when Twitter first added support for images and you didn't have to use twitpic or something, and I think it was like a month before people started using images full of text to get around the character limit.
