simple italian bread recipe.

pack of yeast
1/4 cup warm water 100-110°F
teaspoon sugar.
stir and let bloom for 20-30mins.
add 2 1/2 cup ap flour and a teaspoon of salt.
*3/4-1 C of water. (forgot to add this)
mix together until combined and tacky, turn out onto a flour dusted countertop.
add flour and kneed for about 5 mins adding flour as needed until the dough is no longer tacky.
place dough in greased bowl.
cover and let rise for an hour.
punch down dough and roll out into individual sticks.
bake off in preheated 375°F oven and bake until golden brown. 10-15 mins for small loaves/sticks.
brush with garlic butter and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

very simple.
