    This was a dry summer. The dryest in years. We fixed the ones we could find but asphalt doesn't turn green and it's losing ~$5k/mo just in water

    >Original owner put in all the lines himself
    >Sewer is a combination of underground orangeburg and aboveground PVC
    (Crazy illegal but it's grandfathered in and doesn't make enough to replace it)
    >Water is all crappy PVC and it runs back and forth under the road
    >Water map looks like a 3yr old nigger drew it
    >Major underground leaks
    >Call experts to find them
    >Call a plumbing company to be on site to fix them as they're found
    >Used this company many times before
    >They're the last company in the area that will do reasonable work for reasonable cost in a reasonable timeframe
    >Get to site at 0700 to meet them and prep for the leak detection company
    >No show
    >Call them
    >No answer
    >They blow me off all day
    >Still can't get ahold of them
    >Leak detection company charges $1200 just to come out plus $400/hr
    >I have to do most of the plumbing myself
    >Major stuff I just have to leave to keep leaking

    >Guy in charge of permitting is a jackass with a personal vendetta against my buddy
    >Asks me for 15 documents that I don't legally need
    >I say sure thing and go back out to my truck
    >He doesn't know I have a printer in my truck so I print them off and return within 15 minutes
    >Now he's fuming and yelling
    >I still haven't done anything to this guy, never even met him before today
    >He yells at me that I need to get a signed notarized document from the owner of the registered agent company on the LLC docs saying I have permission to give permission to my subcontractors to begin work
    >tl;dr registered agents aren't a part of the company they basically just scan mail in for your legal notices
    >I tell him that's not how that works and I need to speak to someone else
    >He screams more that if I don't have that I won't get the permit and slams the door
    >I ask the pencil pusher lady to talk to someone else and she refuses, says she won't get involved
    >Meanwhile the police saw the whole thing because they're doing security at the city bldg
    >The police contact the mayor's office
    >Speak with some ladies at the mayors office for a while, write up a report on the guy
    >They put me in touch with that guy's manager who gets me the permit
    >Setup a meeting with the mayor to discuss this guy's behavior
