I'm sure, a long time from now, someone will ask me. "What was it like on the Earth, when it was covered by death?"
Maybe I'll say something like, "Men were without number, and had nothing but despair and hopelessness. But, they preferred their misery to God's love, and have all been destroyed."

All men were born into death.
Men are scared to die, but they are already dead, and do not know it.
Jesus offers life, which no man has without Him.

@icedquinn uhh, greer is such a turd, I believe his claims about the alien contact, but the things he says about alternative energy, are designed to scare people out of pursuing them.

@justnormalkorean I mean, if you compare the files, before and after compression. If the file is much smaller, then you gained a lot by compressing it. If it is the same size, there is no point, leave it uncompressed.

@justnormalkorean ahh, well, if you are getting good compression, then I suppose the technicalities don't matter xD
Practicality before theory, and all that.

@justnormalkorean If the media is properly encoded, the lossless compression should have already occurred.
So, if you gain disk space by compressing your media, then it has sub-optimal encoding.

@justnormalkorean if you can compress your media files, something is probably wrong lol

Years ago, I discovered that, even if I didn't like Taco Bell, if I watched their commercials regularly... I'd find myself eating Taco Bell.
There is probably lots of stuff like that. If you tolerate it, to some extend it effects you.

@icedquinn I think he just saw it as the natural order of things. New things are better, until they become old and bad.
He was big on cycles within cycles.
The twist I never wouldn't have seen coming, is that the force itself is what keeps pushing the galaxy into war xD

@icedquinn I hear dialog tree complexity, is a big reason content/choices get cut from games.

@djsumdog should. It is a great argument against the cloud, and centralized services.
The censorship and control of information is already happening. And, not just on political matters, but science as well.
