I'm sure, a long time from now, someone will ask me. "What was it like on the Earth, when it was covered by death?"
Maybe I'll say something like, "Men were without number, and had nothing but despair and hopelessness. But, they preferred their misery to God's love, and have all been destroyed."

@hazlin i have a generally adversarial relationship with god.
i remember reading about the mouse generational study and some people were worried because they were fairly convinced humanity was headed towards a similar death spiral as the mice did.
spoke again with some people much more recently who were remarking about how the spark is dying out of even the cheery people.

@hazlin links i've long lost to people trying to be channeler mystics in a modern time had similar issues. "this model of universe is deprecated," "the amount of anguish its causing is so bad that [god] has put a stop to anyone being able to advance until they deal with it"
the convergence amongst various [unreliable] sources is that this is the failed timeline.
