   Just found out VLC can play compressed files. Going through my music and turning them all into .rar files.

     @justnormalkorean If the media is properly encoded, the lossless compression should have already occurred.
     
     So, if you gain disk space by compressing your media, then it has sub-optimal encoding.

     @justnormalkorean I mean, if you compare the files, before and after compression. If the file is much smaller, then you gained a lot by compressing it. If it is the same size, there is no point, leave it uncompressed.
