The scammers are getting in quickly

I received this today. Now I have been listed as a carer for my partner (although I did not get any benefits while in the role, not needing that sort of support), so this might have been genuine - the url and the deadlines (even by DWP standards) were a bit of a giveaway and I suspect this was a random chancer text message.

Morning run

A combination of roads and tracks up through the Mintos (makes two little hillocks sound grand doesn't it 🤣). After a year of relatively gentle running (not enough time) we are just getting back to doing a reasonable distance per day, even if split over 3 sessions. The dug still waits for me with a slightly pained look on his face. 13k, missed the showers and a very comfortable temerature.

One pot mac and cheese

I have been meaning to post it but the Greggs mention reminded me. I don't know about the Greggs Mac and Cheese as I never go there but I found about about it from an article in New Scientist of all places and was intrigued. It is now my go to recipe, even with a bit of toasting on the final product. No roux to make. Variants are easy as well.

The advantage of no wetsuit is that you can walk in further without too much baggage for your swim. Having said that an SUP is a fine toy for the waters.

Morning run

Out early before the traffic (mainly farm) and the threat of incoming rain. 12k fasting, mainly road with 2k of woods diversion. Very quiet, we only passed one other runner (on the same circuit but running counter clockwise).

At the moment there is a patchwork of fields, some harvested some with the barley still standing.
