   @Wen @tf @MadeyeTheCarnaptious @Roadwarrior29 our outdoor access legislation is an area that is both envied by folk in England and neglected by folk in Holyrood. Without resources to back up the law, we will revert ever closer to the UK (English) norm. It's disappointing to see something good be reglected.

     @tf @CloudyMrs @MadeyeTheCarnaptious @Roadwarrior29 True to soem extent. But then it is important business for many. What is shocking is the way that successful social initiatives and are not trumpeted.

     Even simple things - Glasgow's satellite industry are ignored in the media - to give one example. We need to project a rounded view of our country (although sometimes it is difficult not to be triumphalist when comparing it to our southern neighbour 🤣)

     For me it's a recurring theme - be it the need for rebuttal units (still zilch from the SNP needless to say) or the possibility of public information campaigns etc. The Cringe is rooted in Scotland after centuries of negative often racist bilge undermining the country and it's simply not in Westminster's interests to draw attention to anything positive in Scotland. Then there's the McCrone Report and all that says about their attitude towards Scotland....

     @Roadwarrior29 @MadeyeTheCarnaptious @Wen @tf I'd like them to be "on" everything positive. I think it's more effective to promote positively than to rebut negatively. At this point, I'd accept anything, though. They're dire.

     @Wen @tf @MadeyeTheCarnaptious @Roadwarrior29 there's no workable mechanism for enforcement. Local authorities have the statutory powers but don't have / provide the necessary resources. Rich landowners know how to play the game.
