@neil Nevermind the copyright, what about GDPR? You cannot just use personal data except for a specific purpose. And while I'd reluctantly agree that "using a weird third party service to record clicking a button in a web UI as 'I legally signed this'" might qualify, I don't think them then data mining it for LLM training can even come close to being allowed.

Or maybe that's what's "select" about the select customers? Only select those not covered by data protection laws?

@gnomicutterance @erebion @clacke @leyrer I found this very instructive when I had my first deliverability problem ~10 years ago. They had an ostensibly helpful postmaster contact page, but the first question was how many mails I was trying to deliver. Possible options: 100k, 500k, 1M, or more.

I was like "No, I'm *not* a spammer, I just want to send like three mails a month to someone I know who happens to be your customer."
