@TechBean Watching the NBC Olympics programming via USA Sports might be harder. So many times I set the DVR to record curling, or figure skating, and gotten hockey instead. And too many times a recorded show has cut off just before the end of an event.

@steter How do LiFePo4 batteries do with shallow cycles? Some batteries lose capacity when not deeply discharged before recharging, but it's been a long time since I studied that topic.

They sat in the living room and talked for hours. He noticed a bowl of peanuts on the side table, and ate a few. As they talked, he ate a few more.

It finally came time for him to leave and he looked at the bowl for a few more peanuts, but it was empty. "Oh, dear, I seem to have eaten all of your peanuts."

That reminds me of a breadboard I was working on in the early 1980s where a data signal was missing the setup time for a D flip-flop. The gating of the clock signal was at the other end of the breadboard from the flip-flop. I finally put the generation of that clock and the use of it on the same oscilloscope, measured the difference, and then calculated the distance using the speed of light. Yep, there was the problem.

I don't know why they insinuate that alcohol might be to blame, but don;t mention the hardness of the pavement. Seems prejudicial to me.
