@merlin this is a misnomer though because apache's monster is a collective name for every apache project

q66 (q66@blahaj.social)'s status on Thursday, 28-Nov-2024 07:34:13 JST q66 well here it is https://github.com/chimera-linux/dinit-chimera/commit/c6925f7d1dd8d6b875225d62b034be3bb24a38bd
initial support for device dependencies in services...
usage is like `depends-on = block.device@/dev/nvme0n1p1`
need to test this a whole lot more and finish some other bits before cutting another dinit-chimera release and deploying it in the distro

i got this record today and was always like "yea the songs are cool but the master gives me a headache" when i listened to it before
but this one sounds really good actually?
it's kinda funny how the whole thing with digital audio is "we've got more dynamic range" and then we ended up compressing everything into oblivion anyway

it's funny how this actually pretty much all works though
a better choice than bcachefs

q66 (q66@blahaj.social)'s status on Monday, 25-Nov-2024 00:30:40 JST q66 @pj @lanodan it's better because most in-tree linux filesystems are not suitable for rootfs for a variety of reasons
linux has tons of them (compared to other unix-likes) but few are reasonably feature-complete (many are read-only, most don't support extended attributes, some don't support random stuff like journal, e.g. hfsplus)

while at it also crumble your yeast into a bit of milk (taken away from the warmed portion) with sugar
