@hgbruenker Du rechnest ohne Gemeinden und Kammer und Gewerkschaften und viele anderen parteinahen Strukturen. Ăsterreich ist nicht der Parteienstaat, der es vor 50 Jahren war, aber die beiden haben sehr massive Fundamente in Institutionen, die keine Bundesregierung wirklich antasten kann.

Auch: ein Nachbar hat das Land mit seinem Fahrrad bereist und war begeistert. Von der TĂźrkei weiss ich wohl zu wenig. Immerhin hat sich dort die Geschichte abgespielt, die die schottische Autorin Ishbel Rose Holmes in "Saving Lucy" erzählt. Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Buch, das aber (etwas entgegen seiner Aufmachung in der deutschen Version) keine locker-flockige LektĂźre ist. #DieSympathischeEMFĂźrAlle

How I'm sitting on the bike & how much I'm at one with steering it and finding the right line has more potential for improvement, I think.
If it was really long descents or really really long rides, I guess discs would make it easier on my hands. <>

Adjusting the cantis I found that there's such a thing as too much and too little mechanical advantage. And in between, there's a sweet spot. Discs apparently have much more mechanical advantage, at the cost of having a tiny range of travel of the pads. Which makes them tricky to adjust, in their own way. >
