    Okay I got genuinely mad trying to play Aoi in Virtua Fighter 4. I swear the AI is cheating and reading my inputs grumble grumble. And suddenly they are all super passive when I try to learn reversals.

    Fuck this shit. I can stomp them by playing aggressive Aoi and not even try to reversal or evade lol The only issue is bad striking range against enemies with stances like Shun Di or Lei-Fei (Aoi kicks can't reach them even when next to them if in a proper stance).

    The bitch-slap is the best move in the whole game lol Puts the big dudes on their place.

    @icedquinn Oh, I know. Just listing for "free" brings out those with "I can get it tomorrow. Oh, I meant next week. Oh, I'm going to get it soon. I'm already driving." and never actually getting it lol Many such cases.

    Putting a small price tag means people don't just ask for it without wanting it. So don't have to deal with those ghosting and promising to pick it up people.

    @icedquinn Yeah, since new "shit" monitors cost only around 100e selling used is kinda pointless. Especially since even LCDs degrade and especially the power units could stop working. So buying used monitors just means buying a time-bomb unless they are new.

    I mean even used CRTs probably need actual maintenance at this point.

    @sun @ElDeadKennedy Most ROMs have gapps included or easily installable. However I'd reconsider if you actually need them. For example none of my apps require them. I have microG installed, but everything's turned off since none of the APIs/features are used.

    I just wanna curl up and die.

    I was at the dentist today. My teeth aren't perfectly aligned top to bottom, so I've been going to get that sorted out and stuff.

    Today the dentist told me that if I want to get them fixed I need to get both my jaws operated, cut in three pieces and possibly wear a prosthetic thing on my upper jaw for the rest of my life. Oh, and before I'll get operated I'd have to wear braces for three to four years with constant adjustments and shit.

    I noped the fuck out of there. I'll rather die.

    It's annoying they dropped this bomb on me only AFTER having a two years of paid appointments. Money well wasted...

    @icedquinn Maybe if they allow viewing multiple streams in a mosaic? But then again, how often is that useful? Or if the channels actually come with a program guide (and being able to set up recording rules etc).

    Played some Winning Eleven 2008 and Virtua Fighter 4 today on PCSX2. WE 2008 plays pretty well and might be my favorite football game. The slight gripe I have with it is that defending is disproportionately harder than attacking due to the teammate AI pretty much leaves you to try to win the ball by yourself.

    Too bad there aren't any good modern football games.

    At VF4 I tried to learn Vanessa, since she is pretty complicated character with two fighting styles (they nerfed her in VF5 so she has only one fighting style there). I'm clearly not very good with her even though I played tons of Shun Di who is arguably harder to master. I don't think the stance switching is something I enjoy compared to smooth flowing combos.

    If only there was a modern Virtua Fighter game... No, Tekken and Dead or Alive suck ass in comparison.
