these monitors seem to be too old to sell
shame, but not surprising.
not old enough to be CRTs not recent enough for someone to buy as a cheap backup. had 'em listed for two weeks.

@susie i figured the listings are free it doesn't cost anything to put it up and see if anyone wants it.
fam just throws everything at goodwill and its like look at least pitch it on ebay for a couple days before donating shit to a business

@icedquinn Yeah, since new "shit" monitors cost only around 100e selling used is kinda pointless. Especially since even LCDs degrade and especially the power units could stop working. So buying used monitors just means buying a time-bomb unless they are new.
I mean even used CRTs probably need actual maintenance at this point.

@susie i mean some of this stuff i'd just let someone have for the shipping. i'd rather things that still work go to someone who wants it.

@icedquinn Oh yeah, you could do the 5$ special instead of donation. (Never offer anything for free. That brings the critters out).

@icedquinn Oh, I know. Just listing for "free" brings out those with "I can get it tomorrow. Oh, I meant next week. Oh, I'm going to get it soon. I'm already driving." and never actually getting it lol Many such cases.
Putting a small price tag means people don't just ask for it without wanting it. So don't have to deal with those ghosting and promising to pick it up people.
