    @Hoss What a stupid take. The bicycles are big enough that these trucks CAN see them. Cyclers aren't trying to get them banned because they get run over. They are trying to get them banned because pedestrians and especially kids DO GET RUN OVER because people driving these literally can't see them.

    Why do you hate me and other Europeans whk can walk to places so much you want to murder us? Because your unpractical trucks? Just get normal pick up trucks you can see out of.

    Today my mom was angry, cause her lesbian coworker is getting a baby on her tax money. Yeah. Sometimes old people just baffle me. It doesn't even cost that much to get impregnated by frozen semen.

    In the same discussion she was fine with giving 30k euros to people who get kids. I kinda noped out of that conversation after that. Lesbians and gays can get kids if they want in my opinion, and it doesn't even cost shit in case of lesbian couples where one of them carries the baby to term. (Though adoption is an option too).

    If people were getting 30k a pop for a kid, there would be issues with women being made literal baby machines in abusive households (especially oppressed immigrated women). I personally wouldn't want to open that can of worms (whoops, our babies die, gib new money). Better would be to get 30k one time for getting a baby, not per baby. And both mother and father are banned from getting it again.

    @sun @taylan Exactly. Just cause we don't have big hefty balls to broadcast to the whole world doesn't make us any more or less subject to asshole behavior. Just as easily some guys would decide to go beat up a guy using their real life info, or check him updates about a holiday and rob his place etc.

    Privacy is important. Just broadcasting everything you do and think with your real name and face is just what. It's more fun when these people are privacy nuts who don't like companies tracking what they buy, and then they do unboxing videos or some shit using their real faces and names.

    @icedquinn IMO video-games are kinda bad for parties like those. I've grown up with mostly video-game focused parties (the golden age of home consoles) and they don't scale well for larger parties. They are much better enjoyed with just a friend or two than a full party.

    Actual LAN parties in that scale would need a whole ass hall and tons of PCs. Waiting for a turn to play a video-game (and swapping after one or two rounds) takes the joy out of the thing much faster than for example waiting your turn to throw the horseshoe while chatting away/laughing at others.

    Edit: Meant to add that social "games" like horseshoe, bowling and such have been much more enjoyable party experiences for me than just video-games.

    @icedquinn And funnily the textures rarely are what makes something pretty or not. Most often it is the animations and "physics". Any half-decent textures will do. Like in Genshin the models and textures are actually pretty darn bad, but the animations make the characters seem cute.

    @Jain My couch used to say that I'm properly hydrated if my pee is clear/mostly clear. That's a good indicator to see if you need more liquids.

    Or well, at least if you are making sure you are hydrated for sports lol I guess normal living doesn't matter as much.
