well putting the bed shaker in the "proper" place is much weaker than under the pillow but let's try it
I think they want you to put it here because under the mattress there's no risk of entanglement. Under the pillow... Could migrate.
With the dreamsky I just set it on my lap when sleeping in a chair. :blobcatgoogly: I will say that I am big fan of vibro alarms though. 100% recommend.

@susie ah no they prefer to call them bed shakers :blobcatgoogly: little disc-y things that go under the pillow or mattress. then when the alarm goes off it runs the motor instead of going :blobcatree: EVERYONE WAKE UP DREAMS OVER BLOBS
i kinda got one on a lark (the dreamsky) because we had plugs and sleep masks and i was curious what you would use for an alarm if you can't see (light alarms comfy) or hear (sound alarms not as comfy*...)
the "sonic bomb" clock has an optional one (and also blinking lights, and up to 113db beeper)
* although the ones that fade in are :comfyheart:

@icedquinn I... have never heard of these things. Someone rigged a hitachi to an alarm clock and got enlightened? :blobcatgiggle2: I don't doubt at all that they wouldn't work, just I can't seriously consider buying one without feeling the need to hide it lol
