Israel is a fascist state replicating what was done to their ancestors on a new set of victims, partially because they want what the victims have, and partially to make themselves feel strong. Notice that their victims are the same people that the German neofascists have chosen as victims...and German law prohibits speaking about it.

@maccruiskeen @wendinoakland @aral I circled Trump International Hotel LV in Google Maps but couldn't find a matching location, however, the imagery is 4 years old. There are a lot of Trump logos, but they don't quite match the one in the photo, they're more garish.

@ErikJonker @resuna @david_chisnall I deal with people's questions every day, and much of the time they aren't even sure what they are asking for. It takes a good deal of drilling down to get to what they need to know. A lot of what is involved is figuring out what they need to know to find out what they want to know. It's difficult for a human with shared experience, I'm skeptical that an LLM could manage it.

@Gargron If you cat's nails bleed, you have cut too deep and probably hurt them badly. Always be very careful and just cut the sharp tip, do mot go anywhere near the pink area of the nail. It's the equivalent of your nail bed. Every time you nick it, you make it harder to trim the next time, and you risk allowing infection into the nail. As you gently and carefully trim your cat's nails, over time they will learn that you aren't going to hurt them, although they may still remember a trauma.

They regard fascism as a secret ally, because it will hasten the collapse they dream of. History means nothing next to the romance of revolution.

"Neoliberals" are "neo" because they are harking back to a time when free markets were a progressive idea and cartelism was the standard. That era is being revived by neoconservatives, of course, but liberal liberals are well past the point where simply not favoring cronies is a radical idea. 1/
