@djsumdog @Wyliesau Although that guy has interesting content occasionally, in this case I think he realized he fucked up and deleted his own post. The change was between September 16, 2024 06:00:07 and 08:23:52 (guessing Wayback uses California time, but doesn't especially matter), none of the older versions of the site have the line about bank transactions. It's a supremely shady indian click bait website that's also oddly tied to online classes to become a lawyer.

@sickburnbro I hate our public schools, but homeschooling is in even worse shape from what I've seen. My cousin had a science textbook where Jesus was literally riding a dinosaur and history texts had odd religious judgements of notable figures in American history. No matter your opinion on the veracity Dinosaur Cowboy Jesus, that sort of thing doesn't help when trying to get a kid into college or to be able to interact with the general public who they assume will have similar views as baseline.

People will complain that Revolver™️ hasn't been released, but the software has been complete for over a year. What's holding back a release is deciding whether to call posts "Bullets", "Rounds", or "Bangs". Mastodon showed that this is the most important aspect of a federating communication software with "Toots", so the decision isn't taken lightly.
