when i started blue collar entrepreneurial life about 10 years ago, i thought that it's much more risky and much more unstable. The past 5 years have shown an insane shift in that zeitgeist for me.

I always feel safe, that i always have a income back up to fall on assuming i don't break all my limbs, i have connections, i am needed and will be needed until i am truly incapacitated. If i lost my full time contract job i would have no issues bouncing back after resting for a week or less. I feel this full time contract is much shakier than my own stuff (high skill hands on tree/wood work)
