Being shellshocked by other predatory comercial social media solutions, probably you know which those are, we're of course a bit too skeptical when it comes to anything non-cronological, more so when it comes to algorythms. What do you use for nlp? and also, perhaps you can label that feed with algorythms specifically, something like for you? you know, to avoid confusion and such

@me not interested in the vision pro or apple platforms in general for the moment, but for those who might want to know but aren't asking, since you already have a vision pro, can you do a test of the app with voiceover too? that would probably apply on both vision pro and ios, since accessibility efforts carry over throughout apple's platforms, usually that is, I dk how it is with this one

@FediFollows hang on, peertubers don't get follower counts up if people on mastodon follow them? or is the problem that few people are following them in general?

Also, I'm reading stuff about the visual issues of plasma 6, especially under wayland. However, what about accessibility? would plasma 6 become more accessible? would the orca not reading windows under wayland thing be fixed? what about the issue where you have to click the desktop with the mouse first, before you can read it with screenreaders?

@feditips What's wrong with lemi, like, the code itself? The devs, as you said on that thread, have lots of issues. However, is that a platform's fault? why not, like, just make our own instances or whatever, where that shit isn't allowed anywhere? If twitter would be open source tomorrow and would be implementing activity pub, hell yeah, I'm all for people making instances, though in practice mastodon has the most important features of twitter anyway, so yeah, twitter doesn't accomplish much at this point anyway, open sourced or not.

@feditips @owncast @live @Hamish @hatnix yes, but you can't view it directly from mastodon. Also, replying to such a post doesn't make the reply into a chat message on the other side as far as I know, neither do chat messages appear as replies in your timeline after you replied to the thread. I find #owncast an awesome platform, but in my view it's only partially federated, as in I still have to go to the actual website to do most things, peertube doesn't have that issue for the most part.

@feditips do you know anything about blogs or websites hosted with static site generators like hugo? even though the content is static, modifications can be done to the website and the build process can be done again, then the rss feed of the site could reflect the changed or added article, etc. Do you know of any fedi pluggin that would post each time content is being rebuilt and pushed to stuff like github pages?
