Aren’t longtermers obsessed with the use of science and technology to optimize human beings? Like eugenics taken even further? If so, that wasn’t part of the article. Buchanan was just a true elitist asshole, who wanted to make sure that govt and the plebes were completely in service to oligarchy. Democracy is for chumps, rewrite the rules to eliminate it. Direct line to Project 2025 and what we have been seeing in (slow, deliberate) action since the 1980s.

Unfortunately I think it’s an automated thing, where the kamalaharrisforpresidentnews tag is included when you reply, which means it goes to everyone in the group. I’m hoping they follow through after the poll taken, and stop boosting all replies. People don’t need to see all this, but I know I’m often guilty of forgetting to untag others when I reply.

I guess lots of people are going to pretend the brutal slog of the 2020 primaries didn’t happen. There was no one candidate that satisfied everyone then, but Biden won. I can’t comprehend the magical thinking that there would suddenly be an easy switch 4 years later. He wasn’t my candidate in the primaries, but once he won, I knew we were all in for the 8 years. Unite, or fall to fascism, simple as that.

It gets tiring, doesn’t it? We go though this nonsense, decade after decade. I keep hoping people will figure it out, but so many are looking for easy answers. And every time, it gets harder to dig our way out this mess.

I wonder if she’s figured out she’s not the next John McCain yet? Former contacts of hers said she was seriously delusional, with presidential aspirations. I do appreciate that she isn’t running so there isn’t a 3 way election. I’m curious what her next grift will be.

Absolutely. I’ve heard about Navratilova. She’s lesbian, but she’s also a TERF. It’s certainly disappointing, but unfortunately there are lots of examples of people all too eager to shut the door behind them.
