I deleted a facebook page I had made to post my work. It was low hanging fruit because I stopped posting there anyway, but I didn't want to leave the information hanging around. Many artists feel like an instagram presence is important, but I'm sure new options will emerge eventually.

In an amazing feat of timing, that "studio visit" for my artist collective's mobile museum is finally happening, in my yard, tomorrow, just as the dry spell ends and we're in for a lot of rain ☔

Yup, it was cold and wet outside. So we peeked at the cart in the garage, then came inside to chat over the zines and some tea. Looking forward to collaborating with this local organization to do some programs next year.

There's no better evidence that #NYC mayor #EricAdams is actually a Republican than the way he's claiming his indictment is actually retaliation by the feds for his complaints about the migrant crisis. He's all about law & order & backing the blue until it's his turn for accountability, now it's "retaliation" from the Biden Justice Department. The parallels to Trump are so clear.

Now why would the Harris campaign challenge trump to a second debate? The jelly in his head is not going to reform into a brain. It just seems cruel.

@StillIRise1963 My 22 year old is very engaged as well. I'm very online, but I learned about Biden dropping out through him, & we've had a long discussion about Harris' chances etc.

No electeds are calling for open borders, but these extremists would tear families like mine apart. Fleeing political instability and violence, we didn't all arrive through official channels, though most were able to regularize their status later. These fuckers would have gleefully sent my people back to be killed, because they didn't wait in line and dot all their i's & cross their t-s. Don't let them do that to another generation of refugees.

I'll say it: open border's would be a good thing. The US can't be allowed to keep destabilizing other people's countries, then block their access to safety.

Incredibly sweet man on the F train this afternoon let me rest my portfolio on the seat next to him. When the car got less crowded and I tried to move it, he insisted I should leave it there.

Swept a bushel of mulberries off the sidewalk and front walk, because I still haven't designed and set up a collection system after all these years. But yesterday a friend posted about the net system under the tree in their community garden, so I am inspired.
