@doktorzjivago Tack för att du kommenterade kostnaden. Jag ser hela tiden inlägg som hävdar att decentraliserad social media inte kan fungera för att det är "för dyrt" och så används gigantiska instanser som exempel.

Det är precis dessa "små" instanser som vi behöver tiotusentals av, istället för några få stora. Då blir inte kostnaderna ett problem.

Brains are indeed extremely energy efficient at a level we don't understand, but I was more alluding to that according to all known science we're also just deterministic autocomplete machines.

This is such an inconvenient fact though so we tend to just claim - without any scientific backing - that "there must be more to it".

Eh no. We know of no physics or chemistry that can result in anything except deterministic autocomplete.

(Thus you have some who talk about "quantum tubes" or pure dualism with "a soul outside of physics" etc)

@thanius I save a shitload of money on automating heating and car charging :) When the kids were younger I had audible notifications in the mesh speaker system whenever doors to the outside weren't closed etc.

I'd say there's lots of utility - but outside of "the common stuff".

@rasmusfleischer Jo, men jag menade att det skulle vara just därför de istället tog PP-åsikter och klistrade på PB, för att få med "yttrandefrihet" och annat utan att för den skulle prata (för) mycket om PP.

Bara en reflektion - vi var många i PPs ledning/styrelse som identifierade oss som libertarianer.
