@alex @olmitch As far as cartoons are concerned, I’m more of a Wren & Stimpy or Pinky and the Brain kinda guy, but King of the Hill was pretty good too.

@lain Why do they even bother unless it’s something actually egregious, like, illegal?

Let’s see… Each user (and instance admin) has mute and block capabilities at their disposal.

Similarly, why do people hit the #spam button in their email when they no longer wish to receive the spam they double opted into?

That’s just fucked up, and personally, as an admin, I typically #block accounts that issue those frivolous reports - does that work? Yes, but it also creates a “boy that cried wolf” situation where the user is later consumed by actual carnivorous predators leaving only bits of bones behind to be later discovered.
