@RuiSeabra it is an observation I make. Services and software is much harder to judge, especially when it comes to Open Source.
But it is clear what many countries are doing; Tesla, McDonalds, coca cola, and many more have seen sharp declines.
The idea of joining a party, does not help. He is not my president. The only hope is to have a gov that does not bend or give in, bu rather oppose and reject.
Don't know about the internals. I used it before to update to alma from c7 and had no issues. The VM had 1G and a lot of swap space. It ran better with 2G after the upgrade.... Disabled many services.
@RuiSeabra this is why I did not share the complete same opinion. The positioning of 'commercial' is not FUD, but rather a simplified observation this is not "government" (or a public service).
@bagder What is the use of them hammering the website over and over again. They do the same for the Fedora wiki... It is not like they need be near real-time.
@RuiSeabra I had not seen those arguments about it being open source as an issue; in the US media it was all linked to a 'commercial' service; unvetted, not suitable for classified data, etc.
@RuiSeabra they made a big deal when Rutte was still using a Nokia dumbphone to receive SMS messages ,as that was not stored/archived; can you imagine how this can be an avoidance of any traceability. These people can not be trusted ...
did a short presentationwith @anjannath for our tea(m)time about simple knowledge management; taking notes and keeping them easy at hand. #markdown with zk, #obsidian and some #nextcloud and android in the mix.
