@shaknais @dannotdaniel @Alice I have heard lame excuses about how Democrats didn’t have the right message…blah, blah, blah. Anybody who paid any attention to Trump and didn’t see this coming is either mentally impaired or willfully blind. There was no message Democrats could have delivered.
Another gem I’ve heard: “I’m not like those other MAGA,”: Yes you are, you voted for Trump.

@dansup Agreed. With one exception—It is time to stop tolerating and making space for people who preach hatred and use our willingness to tolerate and make space for diversity as a platform to spread lies. It’s heresy, it’s treason. Call it what it is and don’t apologize for not tolerating it.

@mattblaze DEI also applies to accessibility for handicapped, which the Right is conveniently downplaying. I believe Veterans get consideration under that policy, another interesting omission from the discussion.

@jwz Agreed. I read a variety of news sources and listen to various podcasts to avoid the information silo. However, there are some particularly stupid POV’s that, by the time you’ve reached nearly 70 yo, it’s fair to say “enough is enough.” Block early and often on social media.
