    Yeah it's not really about apple itself but that boomer bootstrapping, when I was your age I drove bearly running pieces of shit for cars and saved every penny. Their entire ideology boils down to people under 50 or so should just be absolute peasants with 0 luxuries. Maybe that mindset had a little value 50 years ago when you could work at Big Zogcorp, get a company car and buy a house saving a few months and support a family of 3. Now those thing are so far out of reach just some basic luxuries atleast make life a little bearable.

    Early 2000s, I use to visit these pirate forums on the internet. They would ping random web hosts range of ips looking for unsecured ftps. The best ones to hit were the windows servers, Linux was harder. You create dir and would put in a bunch of special characters that way it would mess up the system and hides the dir. Then they upload the last ps2 rip or whatever. usually the files would last a few days until they wonder why disk space was missing and this spike in traffic. More about the hunt of finding random treasure than anything. I ping some hosts before I got scared, I was probably 15 at the time.
