Yeah it's not really about apple itself but that boomer bootstrapping, when I was your age I drove bearly running pieces of shit for cars and saved every penny. Their entire ideology boils down to people under 50 or so should just be absolute peasants with 0 luxuries. Maybe that mindset had a little value 50 years ago when you could work at Big Zogcorp, get a company car and buy a house saving a few months and support a family of 3. Now those thing are so far out of reach just some basic luxuries atleast make life a little bearable.
