If I am playing music, dancing, or playing in the water -- swimming, kayaking or sailing -- I enjoy about 1 puff of a joint or maybe 1/2 of a cookie. At that amount I do not feel very high at all but instead just feel very connected to my body, the rhythm of my movements and the connection with the water and my friends.

@ErikUden If someone hasn't tried an edible before I would suggest not consuming more than 5 mg THC. Current strains of marijuana may have concentrations of THC of 20% or greater. So if your 1/4 cookie had 0.1 grams of marijuana that would be 100 mg. At 20% that would mean you consumed 20 mg of THC. There are also many different strains. Some people prefer strains that have equal (and lower) percentages of THC and CBD. One example is a strain called Harlequin which has about 12% CBD and THC.

@ShadSterling @mekkaokereke sorry you got COVID, and want to thank so much for detailing your experience and experiments. I’m very curious if you or anybody else sees any new research that might back up your observations. Something plausible might be that the RATs still work with new strains but the viral load is distributed differently so following the instructions (swab nostrils) is not useful for testing for being contagious.
