@dansup This reminds me of the circlesharing craze on Google+. It led to less content and more regurgitation of posts. It was bad.

Norwegian Police just closed their X/Twitter account for good, replacing it with an app of their own. I see more and more companies and organisations doing the same.

I wish they had taken time to research using the fediverse instead.

3/4 of $44 billion- down the drain. Imagine all the other useful things it could have covered!

IMO, Musk is a stable genious too...

@atomicpoet Well, they killed G+, which IMO, was the best platform I ever used. Looking forward to groups on Mastodon!

I must say, #Elk.zone is a really well done #Mastodon #web #app! It looks like I have a new favorite. It works just as well on the desktop as on mobile as a #PWA. And, it is open source!
