     @hobbypainternyc I wouldn't exactly call this my "primary" account. Instead, that would be @atomicpoet@atomicpoet.org.

     This account is focused on news about social media and the Fediverse. In keeping with that, I go where the newbs go, and that's mastodon.social.

     There's also the matter of this account potentially crippling smaller servers due to how much attention it attracts.

     Also, if I ever do move, I want to take my posts with me.

     Is there a reason you don't use Calckey as your primary account, other than the potential local reach of Mastodon.social? I've been checking it out, but I'm just interested in your use case specifically.
