    ... for hosting my primary fediverse account since gnusocial.net announced it was shutting down, until I managed to set up my own fediverse instance.

    I've just unsubscribed from all active accounts (other than yours) that I used to follow here, which may lighten the load on your server, and I probably won't be posting much from here any more, having encouraged others to follow me at my new home: @lxo (it became apparent that GNU social will link to gnusocial.net, despite tagging and copying the correct account; that looks like a bug)

    if there's an easy way to back up what's left of my account, so that I can keep a local record of my own posts, that would be much appreciated. otherwise, I can probably arrange something myself.

    I don't intend to close the account right away, so as to keep the link-forward active for some time, but I will likely do so in due time, if my inactivity doesn't shut it down automatically at some point.

    putz, parece que tem um bug no gnusocial.jp que faz a marcação de lxo em snac.lx.oliva.nom.br aparecer como um link pra conta morta lxo em gnusocial.net. não siga o link quebrado, vá pela menção ou o endereço "moving to" em vez disso. desculpe pelo surpreendente inconveniente

    huh. there seems to be a bug in gnusocial.jp that makes the tagging of lxo at snac.lx.oliva.nom.br appear as a link to a dead lxo at gnusocial.net account. don't follow that broken link, go for the mentions of the "moving to" address instead. apologies for the surprising inconvenience.

    quando eu tomava antidepressivo, o psiquiatra tinha até um protocolo com os pacientes de deixar receita numa gaveta específica da sala de espera do consultório, quando o paciente ligava e deixava recado pedindo renovação de receita dentro do protocolo. aí não precisava nem marcar hora pra buscar, ele acionava a abertura da porta enquanto atendia, eu entrava, abria a gaveta, pegava a receita deixada no meu nome e fechava a porta ao sair.

    eu acho bem interessante, mas ele me parece priorizar dispositivos móveis, que eu não uso; não encontrei pacotes prontos pra usar no Trisquel, o que me sugere que precisaria investigar melhor pra ver se não há alguma armadilha ali. já o GNU Jami, que eu prefiro, me parece tratar o sistema que eu uso com mais consideração, e estou bem satisfeito com ele, a ponto de não ter ido atrás de outros que fazem basicamente a mesma coisa.

    would you rather vote for a candidate that says the right words, without any intent to carrying them out, or for a candidate that does the right things?

    why should select of software be held to lower superficial standards?

    vc nunca morou num endereço que esses mapas sinalizavam errado, né?

    eu moro há mais de 20 anos numa quadra que tem a mão invertida em relação ao restante da rua, e que parece continuação de outra rua. inúmeros mapas privativos, de quando essas coisas começaram a se popularizar, sinalizavam a mão invertida e a numeração errada. perdi a conta de quantas pessoas, de visitas a entregadores, não conseguiram encontrar o endereço, ou tiveram dificuldades, ou ou quase pegaram contra-mão, foram parar no outro edifício de mesmo nome na outra ponta da rua, porque esses mapas tinham informação incorrigivelmente errada. um dia, consertaram, mas demorou vários anos.

    no openstreetmap, outro dia encontrei uma outra rua em que morei antes com nome errado. nem sabia como arrumar isso, mas fiz uma anotação no mapa, indicando sites que reforçavam o nome correto. poucos dias depois, a informação errada estava corrigida.

    adivinha qual que eu acho difícil confiar? :-)
