    > [Jesus is Lucifer]

If you mean the figure in Isaiah, this is Nebuchadnezzar, otherwise you've got some explaining to do if you keep reading and get to the part about Cyrus destroying Lucifer's capital. Cyrus--a brilliant tactician--is the reason for underwater grates in walled cities: he diverted the Euphrates and just marched into Babylon.

In colloquial usage, Lucifer is Satan. Get too insistent on who is allowed to call things what and you'll end up with some "There is only one God and his name is Allah!" chants and that's your call but it is generally better to take people's meaning as you can.

Throughout the Bible--and several other religious texts, almost all the Middle Eastern ones, it's practically a colloquialism--the stars and other shit in the sky are used figuratively to represent kings. The Day-Star/Light-Bringer means just the most prominent king. You see it in Daniel where the metaphor is made explicit and in Revelation. You'd need a reason to demonstrate why this is different from all the other uses rather than working backwards from the desired theology; good luck, there are no textual flags. You can sit down with the book of Isaiah and Strong's Concordance and maybe a copy of YLT and have a look.
