@Vidmastereon@binkle@meso@mint also Linux/the FOSS community as of now (RIIR, Codes of Conduct, fights over AI, the GNOME people, politics, etc.)
You could argue it's been highly effective because while Microsoft does a thing and MacOS costs money, they don't happen to have the sheer amount of online fights.
Now look at Louis, he not only didn't use pattern recognition but he drank the kool aid as a single issue voter and now he's paying the price. He's gonna fall into obscurity.
@mint@binkle@meso also some people archived his meltdowns over this.
and just like that R2R is derailed. Turns out you just need to add gender stuff to anything, it worked for Linux and it's working here too. I'm sure a few more Clippy avatars will make 3d printing companies tremble.
@binkle@PurpCat Voiced support for a pro-R2R troon and sweeps up the comments pointing his other policies. Also apparently kept radio silence about Prusa 3D printers doing the same shady shit Bambu did a while ago.
he already did the moment he left new york to persue his youtube money and futo (where does their money come from btw try asking/researching that one) he kinda was already falling off the R2R train because he was engaging with the internet drama machine more than the real world.
A lot of these places in the internet realm dont get much view from the normgroids because in most places the are a) not valuable to them and b) not really that important. Oh my phone broke? Well guess I got to buy a new one. My OS is shit? well it works fine enough for what I need, cant complain I guess.
and its great for le politicians too because most people will religiously try and kill the other side (ie opposition) and thus the gov can just inject a little bit of work left retard and derail and entire movement into obscurity, but they are spergy enough that any attempt they make at mobilizing radical change will fall off really quick because power on the internet does not translate to power in the real world
@PurpCat@binkle@meso@mint the FOSS community and its subsidiaries are the software island of misfit toys, It is where you go as a software dev when you cant cut it in closed source development The people there are neurotic, abrasive, uncooperative, sociopathic, vain, petty, and cant hit a deadline if their lives depended on it, to top it off they all have this Dr. House "im so good at my job, im allowed to break all the rules!" Megalomania. They lack the character traits and skills that are arguably more important than your programming ability for the private sector
@pernia@PurpCat@binkle@GrapheneOS@mint grapheneos's mastodon account personally wrote posts against me and asbestos because the manipulative troons keep reinforcing micay's schizophrenic delusions
