     @s2208 @Hoss Exactly. Often the luxury stuff time is really high quality and quality control, but the price is for the brand. I wouldn't be surprised if this just pushes luxury goods buyers "up market" to something fancier.

I bought a fake set of pit vipers for cheap because I like the concept of devaluing a globohomo brand and don't want to give thelm money (triple win TBH). It came in an authentic box with everything and was probably from the same OEM plant.

My buddy works flat rate and explained that even if he could buy 5 harbor freight wrenches and swap them every time they broke, he'd lose time he could spend working doing the drive. He works 45 hours a week and averages 55-60 in job hours, so that extra time is valuable for him

     Could be this is a mistake and/or propaganda. Just confirmed the luxury goods market isn't doing so well right now, poor sales in the PRC is one reason cited for 24Q4, and perhaps this factory got cut because of that, not tariffs.

     For the average hourly electrician, I could give a fuck. As long as it's not stripping out the lugs I don't care. Torque values in a panel or CT are way lower than my truck so a lower quality tool is fine

     @Hoss anyone who is not a moron should know that when you pay hundreds/thousands of dollars for any "designer" brands you are not paying for the material and labor, but rather the brand name itself.

     You could apply this to a lot of things. Too many people will pay extra just to say that they have [current trendy brand product].
