     @waifu When I was a wee lad, I took over the school comm and sang a love song for a girl I liked it. Needless to say, I was reprimanded and the girl didn't spoke to me afterwards. Thankfully it was the last month before graduation and more terrible things happened during that month so everybody forgot about it.

     @waifu When I was in fifth grade we had dance practice (waltz) and I was paired with the bigboobest popular girl. I was really nervous so I took the picture on her shirt as my focal point. During the music the girls would giggle amongst themselves but I ignored it. After the class someone remarked to me how I looked at her tits the whole time. God damnit.
     
     It seriously bothered me for years until I told others about it during a summer camp and everyone thought it was really funny. That kinda melted the shame out of the memory.

     The true answer at the time would have been, “to be with a girlfriend who loves me very much and wants to spend every day with me”.
     
     But I knew they would mock, pity, or be cringed from my real answer, so I lied and made up something about “S&M” before I fully knew what that was and got everyone saying, “ew” among other responses like that.
     
     I am more cringed not from their responses but because my fantasy was so simple yet so far away. To this day 15 years later I’ve never experienced my true dream, and have never experienced being on a date. Nor have I experienced a hug from a girl in 5000 days give or take.
     
     I believed in better tomorrows when I was younger. Now, I’m sick, with no friends, no girlfriends, nor experiences of that stuff to even think fondly back on to ease the passing of days.

     @menherahair @nyanide @waifu The GNU From Scratch guide recommends that you go install a proprietary version of Linux and I reckon it also recommends other proprietary software, thus following that proprietary guide without modifications means you are running proprietary software.
     
     All RISC-V hardware that I have inspected that could be used as a proper computer has had at least a nonfree bootloader, with nonfree DDR4 RAMinit at least, thus it is almost guaranteed you are running proprietary software if you are using a computer with a CPU that implements RISC-V.

     @Suiseiseki @waifu LFS style (so, no explicit distro) with the 2.4 kernel with all proprietary elements removed. I have an extremely bare bones system with init being a symlink for the normal posix sh.
     
     If the datacenter switch doesn't work out of the box with this thing, I just go find another datacenter. I've been able to live off of just this white van and the raw fish in public park rivers for the last few years.

     @waifu i used to think being very into politics and shit was smart and strong and enlightening, in a way it was enlightening given that i learned just how many fucking losers are into politics, ideologies and larping, but i am not exactly proud of thinking that nazis were the good guys when they saw my people as subhuman
