  In my case, I have five herniated discs and one sitting on the nerve *bad* at C3/4. So, their acupuncture didn’t fix, but temporarily relieved my excruciating pain. Maybe it’s witch doctor shit, but I’ve never had it do any harm, at least.

  Such things existed in Korea, of course. The good ones though, were the legitimate massage parlors. The sexy time massage parlors wanted your money, and for you to leave. The legit ones, for about $40, would do the whole one-hour deep tissue massage a la Kung Fu Master Chen's Great Auntie Soo Chang, leaving you completely worked over but feeling great.   It’s better to keep her completely out of it unless she’s absolute chad material. Women aren’t great at keeping the lie off their face when interrogated.   Stay away from the jew shit if you can. Poppy pods are okay for intense pain but not to be trifled with. Kratom is great for chronic, nagging pain, unless it's really intense. Typically even the really strong stuff won't touch that, or if it does, it's going to come with the downside of being highly addictive like the poppy pods. If you've got long term pain that requires something like that typically there should be a surgery in your future. Nobody should be on heavy painkillers for years or they have a terrible doctor that just gave up.
  
  Ashwagandha at night is awesome .. I'd recommend it for just about anyone.

  Both my parents are/were allergic to hydros & oxy, so they go straight to Dilaudid 😬 Mom hates taking anything, but knee replacement, then cancer pain... apparently methadone steps in vs Dilaudid for chronic management. All sucks. I've only taken minimal oxycodone post-surgery.
  
  I hear decent things about kratom, for sure. I like rhodiola & siberian ginseng for energy. Ashwagandha at night.

  My fucking doctor got me strung out on morphine. He was elderly and died unexpectedly of a heart attack. Suddenly I had to go without, and it fucking sucked elephant balls. Kratom withdrawal is nothing by comparison.
  
  And yeah, I do like the energy boost you get with Kratom. It's real, useful energy rather than the jittery caffeine variety.

  I've read about the junkie controversy with Kratom. Some people claim they've gotten strung out on it. I can't imagine that. I've taken kratom everyday for weeks at a time and then ran out. Felt a little edgy for a day or two, and of course the pain returned, but that's about it.

  Yeah, it's nothing like heroin analogues, I'm pretty sure people complaining of kratom "withdrawal" probably never stopped using heroin.
  
  It's similar to coffee to me. You feel shitty when you stop using it but it's nothing you can't handle and move on with your life about. You're not going to rob someone because you're out of kratom.

  I've dealt with Lyme Disease. The best thing I found for the joint pain I suffered from was an over the counter remedy you've probably heard of: kratom. Better than the morphine my Doc had me on, and not nearly as addictive.

  Kratom is like weed. It's an awesome plant that has a ton of good uses if you actually need it, sadly it gets holed because it's often used as a junkie crutch for binding to your opioid receptors.
  
  Japanese Knotweed is one of the most effective plants out there at treating the lyme and not the symptoms. It's horribly invasive so I wouldn't plant it, but you should be able to find plenty of people who have it and want to get rid of it. Tastes a lot like rhubarb, if you get the fresh spring shoots before they're huge and bamboo like they can be sauteed like asparagus. Super good for your heart as well.
  
  I'm getting ready to make strawberry knotweed jam in a few weeks because I'll have it fucking everywhere.
