Kratom is like weed. It's an awesome plant that has a ton of good uses if you actually need it, sadly it gets holed because it's often used as a junkie crutch for binding to your opioid receptors.

Japanese Knotweed is one of the most effective plants out there at treating the lyme and not the symptoms. It's horribly invasive so I wouldn't plant it, but you should be able to find plenty of people who have it and want to get rid of it. Tastes a lot like rhubarb, if you get the fresh spring shoots before they're huge and bamboo like they can be sauteed like asparagus. Super good for your heart as well.
