Takes like 500,000 gold or more. I only have 10,000 gold. So I am doing gathering only, that is Herbalism and Mining. It's pure profit. The way it works now is, each mining or herb node can be harvested by 10 people then it disappears. Considering how crowded everything is, the nodes only last a minute or two. But yea making like 5000 gold a day from just an hour or so of gathering so not bad. You can run dungeons with friends of any level now. So I can be level 71 and you can be level 10 and the dungeon syncs it so we all are equal.

     @DiamondMind i used to have leathermaking and tailoring for gathering. You kill so many beasts and humanoids, it made sense for me to get those.
     
     Sell stuff on AH, get my gear from dungeons, pay for enchants.
