Trailer houses. Brand new I know a few people who bought one within the last 3 years for 60k. My house didn't cost me a penny, it was a house that was given to my father in law, we parked it on the property and fixed it up. Used trailers are relatively cheap. -

It depends on the card vendor, Amex is the worst I'm pretty sure like 0.2-0.5c ahead of visa and MasterCard.
But the rate for merchants is usually between 2.8-2.9% - but payment processor fees are another percent of that so it's probably closer to 6% figure.you gave, but that depends on volume.BowserNoodle ☦️ likes this. -

IF you’re willing to compromise on your living situation (even with my very lenient “2 acres 2 bedrooms 2 car garage” requirements list this is a VERY sparse market at that price)
IF the money you saved doesn’t inflate away by 8% every year
AND if the housing market doesn’t double in price in that almost a decade you spent saving
Good job buddy you solved the housing crisis, as long as literally nothing happens to you and your family to make you have to save that money.

Let's see. I have 700/mo I put back into a "emergency fund" plus 300/mo I pay on credit card (because I can). There is a 1000 in my budget once I get that card paid off. I could cut my grocery bill in half if I wanted to, so that's another 300/mo.

I still don't understand how they benefited from paying an extra $150 in processing fees to Amex.
