     I'm like half Irelish (Irish living in England) and Flemish, like, off the boat immigrant parents, but I love spicy food. But yeah I guess my parents never made anything spicy...
     
     I guess when I finally had access to spicy food I was just like "Fuck my bland ancestors, this is what I'm about now."
     
     Black pepper isn't a spice, it's, like, a flavouring like vanilla.

     @lanodan I fucking love Sriracha, I too can put it on most things. For other stuff that Sriracha isn't too good on, there's tabasco and cayenne powder too

     @coolboymew Literally went through a zenki boost with spicy food before. Went to some Hot chicken place and tried the second spiciest flavor. Managed to not bitch out and finished all my wings, but it was the first time I had some so spicy it hurt to eat. After almost dying from that meal I’ve been able to take on other place spiciest flavors no problem.

     Did you know that there is only one manufacturing facility for all Tabasco bottles shipped throughout the world? It's a family-owned and operated business and on the tour you can see actual humans applying the caps to the bottles at a leisurely pace instead of a bunch of machines doing it at superhuman speeds. Yet, somehow, we get Tabasco bottles in the most obscure places in the world, like Japan and rural villages in Indonesia.

     @coolboymew @lanodan It definitely was surprise to go on that tour in Louisiana. They built the place near/above a giant salt mine, which they use its contents in the preserving and processing of the peppers and such. I also got a tiny Tabasco bottle, which was cool. Haha.
     Almost as weird were the Tabasco-flavored chips and Tabasco-flavored ice cream they had in the gift shop. Both were surprisingly good, actually.

     @lanodan @coolboymew A relative saw it when she was on a world tour with a choir group. It totally threw her since she was from Louisiana and didn’t expect to see it out of the States. And I saw it in Japan when I went there. It was in tons of restaurants and even some shops. Totally unexpected. Lol
