@anarchopunk_girl @art Yeah, me too, way too easy to lose time down the rabbit hole and there's been drama surrounding the relaunch of calckey to firefish for a good few weeks, including scuppering the relaunch itself, and so much of it is so petty and personal - with some serious accusations thrown in albeit without clear evidence - it just demonstrates a lack of maturity on the part of so many of those involved (and some are in fact very young despite leading development or being admins).

@art Oh shit, yeah I've been following the airing of dirty laundry that all seems mostly based on shaky accusations rooted in personal vendettas. I had no idea Kolektiva was now defederating from Firefish too though - it's not even listed on their moderated servers. I'd be astonished if that was the case at this stage.

Okay so why can I not access accounts on #firefish.social from #kolektiva.social but can from other servers? Grr.

I love the feeling of authenticity on Mastodon - as opposed to the historically more careerist vibes of Twitter, I guess. So rest assured, on this account of mine, it's not just about me and my stuff.
