The iPhone cameras are *intentionally* wide angle, making objects *more* distant than they appear to the naked eye, and sometimes I want to SCREAM because of it.

#KelpFest on the #MendocinoCoast has been great. Indigenous food and craft at Xa Kako Dile farm was inspiring.

One of the best actions I took in the aftermath of the election was to join the local branch of the League of Women Voters. I couldn’t tell from their website whether they were even active in any way, but I mailed a check to the address indicated. I have since been eagerly cultivated to supply my additional contact information, and receive an intelligent newsletter of local issues and hearings, events and analysis. While officially nonpartisan, they clearly work for democracy and human rights.
