@dustcircle I think that the constitution means whatever MAGA decides that it means. In that, I’m sure that there was some sort of charter that was replaced by the constitution. Just as I’m sure that the Weimar Republic constitution went through stages of reinterpretation, before it was conveniently forgotten.

@Radical_EgoCom @anarchistquotes As Walter Benjamin elegantly shows in his work on violence, the violence of the state is already present in society. It only “appears” sporadically, but it is always already there. Ask the BDS protesters. People calling for social change are unlikely to be treated kinder than students have been. And remember Clinton has effectively justified political violence, killing “civilians” to get to “terrorists”. Violence will not bow to peace.

@foser When are Americans going to realize that this is a pro-fascist paper? The downplaying of Republican crimes, racism, and other evils is *standard* in this rag. It was most definitely not a ‘bid to flip the vote’. The language attempts to legitimize GOP criminal activity. As fascist as FOX.
