@davealvarado @darius @mekkaokereke VCs are in the business of some disruption, but not all. Most don't want to disrupt the VC system that gives them so much power, for instance.

If they were into any and all disruption, they could easily hire or fund many more people who don't look like themselves. They could fund or hire disabled people or workers' cooperatives, for example.

@thomasfuchs No break-ins? We have a lot of car break-ins in the Bay Area.

@thomasfuchs I never know what to do with the stickers. It's been suggested that I put Apple stickers on my car, but I don't want to advertise that my car may contain expensive Apple products.

@thomasfuchs What I see are individual smart home applications, e.g. locks and light bulbs. What I'm not seeing is a whole-home integration. I don't know if that will ever happen in normal middle class homes.
