(I don't know if it changes if the accusation is purely fictional, or something that the victim would prefer to keep quiet)
Interesting, most people think that the ransomware of LLMs will be extortion with the threat of automated defamation at scale. I'm more on the side of scaling up any kind of "pig butchering" or cat-fishing scam.
@mjausson these are long term scams where the scammer builds a long-term text-only relationship that they then turn into a cash request. Currently the people doing the texting are often effectively slaves in Myanmar or similar. The 6 months of texting could probably be done with lower labor with the assistance of LLMs, meaning they could run more scams simultaneously.
@vaurora Interesting? I'm having a hard time imagining how these scams would work. Can you explain?
